Ellen R. Fish
Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer
Prior to joining CFG Community Bank, Ellen Fish served as Senior Vice President for Provident Bank of Maryland. She held management positions at Provident Bank in small business banking, syndications, middle-market banking (including asset-based lending), Provident Lease Corp and private banking. From 1991 until joining Provident Bank, she served as a Senior Vice President and manager of Real Estate and Commercial Lending for Bank of Maryland. Ms. Fish currently serves on the board of directors for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Baltimore County, Roland Park Country School and Network2000, Inc. As founder and creator of the Small Business Resource Center, she worked with Towson University’s College of Business and Economics to create a valuable means to providing strategies to assist small businesses—a project funded by the county in addition to private-sector support and an example of how corporations can work cooperatively with various levels of government. Ms. Fish holds a B.S. in Management from Virginia Tech. She was the recipient of The Volunteer of the Year Award for Baltimore County from the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and was recognized three times as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. In 2011 and 2012 she was recognized by SmartCEO Magazine as one of the Top Bankers.
